Jim Isakson

Jim has a unique blending of the prophetic gifting coupled with the compassion of Jesus for the body of Christ. Combining these giftings with practical teachings provide the Saints with encouragement and the much-needed instruction for the impartation of their God-given giftings so they can fulfill their destiny in Christ.

Jim was Born-again in July of 1975 and filled with the Holy Spirit in May of 1978. In 1982-84, he attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma and has pastored in Minnesota, South Dakota and Colorado for 16 years. In 1996, Jim moved to Denver, CO to co-found an accredited, affiliate campus of Vision Christian Bible College. Jim has a BA in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Theology. At the college, he was Dean of Students/Professor for 3 years where he loved to teach/equip the students in the Word of God and His ministry gifts. In March of 2024, Jim moved to Cambridge, MN to assist as a “para-church ministry” to Word of Life Ministries pastored by Vern and Mary Peltz. He began an online Christian school of ministry called ACTS – Apostolic Center for Training in the Supernatural which is designed to mature/equip the Body of Christ to flow in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. In 1997, Jim founded New Life Ministries from which he began his itinerate ministry across the US, including over 30 international trips to France, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Costa Rica, England, Kenya and Peru. Every time, he has seen God confirm His Word with “signs and wonders following” (Mk 16:20).

Jesus is the whole reason any of us are alive but especially in Jim’s case, Jesus is the “sole” reason why he is still alive today. When Jim was 15 years old, he contracted spinal meningitis and after 5 days in a “coma”, the doctors gave him a 50/50 chance to live through the night. Even if he did survive, he would be like a “vegetable” from the high 106 degree fever and the effect of the disease.

Without knowing Jesus personally as his Savior, his spirit left his body and descended into the darkness of Hell. It was the most terrifying night of his
life experiencing the horrors of hell. Later, Jesus literally came and touched Jim, revealed a part of Heaven and God’s plan for his life. It was the healing touch of the Master that saved him…His precious name is Jesus!! (Jim’s testimony link below)

Since Jim accepted Jesus as his personal Savior, he has been blessed to have personally seen the miraculous power of God displayed in his own life as well as those he has prayed for. Along with the miracle of the New Birth in previous outreaches and services, God has also given sight to the blind, deaf ears were opened, cancer, gall stones, cataracts, and tumors have disappeared!

Having personally experienced God’s healing touch, Jim believes it is God’s perfect will for you to be healed, delivered and set free from all the bondages and attacks of the enemy according to His Word in Luke 4:18 and Acts 10:38.

God is releasing His glory upon the earth today with an increasing measure of signs, wonders and miracles like never before!! Let’s believe for God’s miraculous Glory to come to your area!
