Jim Isakson was raised on his family farm in South Dakota, where the endless prairies shaped his early love for open skies and quiet reflection; at age 15, a sudden faint at home plunged him into a near-death descent through terrifying darkness, followed by a radiant encounter with divine light that ignited his lifelong calling in ministry and writing.
Falling Into Darkness… Running to the Light
“I was falling … falling … falling into an endless abyss of total darkness. The fear was overwhelming … I had no idea where I was or what had happened. Then, suddenly, a pinpoint of light appeared far below me, growing brighter and pulling me toward it with an irresistible force.”
Falling Into Darkness… Running to the Light in which I give my personal testimony of having an OBE or NDE from being in a coma with bacterial spinal meningitis. My spirit left my body and I saw my body/face in the bed. when I recognized my face, I fell through a trap door into a horrible place of torment and great fear… down to hell I went. Later Jesus came and rescued me, took me to heaven and showed me my spiritual gifts that I was to use to bless humanity.
The Anointing
